Got the jitters? Going back a few years we did fit a small unit between the rc receiver and the servos on some of our production models at work. Sorry to put a spanner in the works but I can't laser cut PVC it gives of poisonous and corosive fumes and can damage the machine.

I would be more than happy to help, I can cut and engrave most things other than metals "not powerful enough" and some plastics due to the poisonous fumes etc. We have just ordered some 1mm clear acrylic at work due for delivery this week. I could probably buy a sheet if I ask nicely at around £8 is...

The last time I was in the railway museum at York I remember looking at a model loco that had been built following the full size practice. From memory I think it was 5" gauge but I could be wrong! The note in the cabinet said something along the lines, the gentlemen that built it did get it running ...

Great fun, just been having a go at uploading a photo I hope it has worked. Thank you for you feed back Richard, It's not so much the running in the rain as the clean up to prevent the rust. Maybe I'm been over protective? The novelty will ware off one day……
