It's a bit complicated but I think I'm getting there using the add attachment tag then clicking place inline which of course is what the instructions say.....oh dear.
I resized the image using the Resize Images Online site.

Hope you don't mind Mike but following you effort I thought I'd give it a go to see how the resizing site works.
At 350 pixels it looks like I could use the custom settings rather than the presets.
