Re: Lion

Diane would be a good bet, but also Nick Elliott at Midland Loco Works.

Lion is a great engine for going and playing. Mine weighs all of 56lb! If you want to know anything let me know, mine is currently in bits while I do some rebuild on the chassis and fit a new boiler.

Re: Doug Hewson News

Is anyone able to update us on Doug's condition? I sent him some photo's by post of my new engine a few weeks ago, hopefully one of the family showed them to him. I firmly believe in the goodness of encouraging ones passion's in these situations.

Re: GWR self contained buffers

I should have updated this, I've recieved a drawing via our Facebook page of the round shank self contained buffers, although so far I've only had time to draw it in 2D CAD, I must find the time to draw it in 3D and get a price for printing and lost wax casting by Michael in NZ My axleboxes aren't c...

GWR self contained buffers

Has anyone got a drawing of a GW self contained buffer, type fitted to a Crocodile? I've inherited a new bogie driving truck which is already a fair representation of a Crocodile, so I've decided to up the detail a bit more and get it looking closer. It's currently got no rear buffers at all, just a...

You can turn off the notifications from Faceache. I think I only get an email from them now when the wife tags me in a photo, usually one or other of the dogs.
