Answer to why - the turnout to the shed on my short garden line is stupidly small radius and my Jinty won't go round it! (My 0-4-4 will, but she's not a loco that would be allowed at GL5!) Any suggestions on the minimum radius of point that could be negotiated (slowly) by a 4-4-2T (precursor?) And an 0-6-0T (jinty)?
