COACH IDENTITY AND REHOMING

Can anyone out there help to identify my coach. It is glass fibre and appears to be a BR mk2. It may have been moulded in blue, but is now sprayed 'blood and custard'. There is a steel perimeter chassis, and steel footboards for use as a riding coach. The windows are moulded in, but not cut out. It ...

Emptying coal waggons

Not strictly on topic, but I used to live beside a coal merchants yard on the Wrington branch of the old GWR. On leave from my RAF apprenticeship in 1957 I did empty a waggon for pocket money.
