Can i surgest if its going to be on a saturday morning make it the second saturday as that then leaves people free to go to the Michel Cadez railway on the first saturday of the month as i know several members go down during the summer months .

j tipton does a good range of lamps and as there hollow they are easy to convert to working lamps.

If the superheaters are working well you do get flaking on the copper hot header pipework the only idea i have is that you either did not get all the flux off after soldering or the material was not totaly clean when you soldered it.

Yes black is strange everyone seems to have a different shade. As for reds the buffer beam colour is different to the inner frame colour , and in full size they only painted red where the motion work was.

all GL5 clothing is ordered through Elizabeth Cooling on the number and e mail listed in the GL5 contacts page. I get my bib and brace from toolstation as there a resonable price. Also the N R M have a web site where you can get some items.
