Re: The Future

It may be worth considering opening these forums to the general public. At the moment it is a requirement that you are a GL5 member before you can join. Like most clubs 80 percent of members never want to say much on a forum, and a lot of interest lies outside the club and this forum. Quiet often a ...

Holger, I have had to remove the sellers address and bank details from your post due to confidentiality rules. I understand you may have been subject to a scam but we can't allow this information to be public as this incident may end in the hands of the Police. My advice is to contact the Metropolit...

Re: Gilling 2010 Photographs

Hi Michael, you can attach more images, just make new posts and add a further 3 at a time. I will take a look at why the images are spilling over the sides and they may need reducing in size. The max size for attachments is 460 X 345.

Nice photos though.

Regards Austin.

I have added links to A4 sized Standards Images. Note that these can be printed by going to File>Print in your internet browser, the images just fit onto an A4 - I think. I am currently without a printer so I cannot be sure. You may need to change the page layout to Landscape for it to print properly.

D Harris, In reply to my Dads comment . . . . to save an image right click on it in your internet browser and go to Save Image As. Once the image is downloaded to your PC double click it to open it. In window XP this will open a window that will display the image, at the bottom of the window click t...

Standards & Turnout 45

Standards It is important that track and stock conform to the Wheel Profile, Track Gauge, and Running Gauge standards. The buffing and drawgear standards should be treated as recommendations for anyone not working to accurately scaled full size dimensions, eg if your prototype had slightly shorter ...

Displaying Images

Please use the free image hosting service to upload images. Once you click "host it" a new page will open which will contain links you can copy and paste into your gl5 Post to display the image. Please note images may take a minute or two to upload, therefore the new page may take a while to display...

Hi Frits, This is a good point that you make, my reason for not having categories this time is that the forum is not large enough yet. I thought that if I split it all up into sections then the whole forum would be too spread out considering the few members we have at the moment. Of course if people...
