Indeed, very sad that the forum is not being used. It'd be a great way to stay in touch with all the activities and to help each other out. That's why we joined the society, isn't it?

I have a query regarding a loco I have just bought. I'd like to know, for insurance purposes, what the value is of a very well made and perfectly working "Maid of Kent". It is done in the Southern style of the L1 with round fire box.

Please don't be too timid to use this forum!

Thanks Allen, I bought this loco to have a play with while I am building my Black 5. By the time mine is finished I should have a good understanding of driving and be able to tell I mine is performing properly!
