I have received this Email and have been asked to pass on the news to all the members.

I have some very sad news to pass on, Mick Gypson passed away Tuesday this week at about 11:15 pm as you are probably aware he had not been well for a long time, fighting the big C.
Can I ask you to pass this info on to the membership of GL5, can you make it clear there is to be NO CONTACT MADE WITH THE FAMILY if any member requires further details they can either e-mail me at iantrains@yahoo.co.uk or phone 01206 211540.

Very sad to hear we have lost Mike. I feel very privileged to have known him. The world is a poorer place with his loss.
