Track and Wheel Standards

Post by Adams » Thu Nov 03, 2005 7:57 pm

Hi All

I am new to 5" gauge and wondered where I might be able to find any published 'Standards' information.

Sorry if this may have been asked before on the previous forum, but I have been unable to find any relevant details.

Thanks for any information provided.

Dave.

Hello Dave,

It is a little late after you wrote your question, but I found a site with your desired answers. Unfortunaly it is in German and of course metric.

Still I hope I can help you with this site.

Go to: http://www.dampf-modell-bahn.de
You will see a drawing of a track and a little lower a wheelset. If you need help in translation just ask me.

Regards

Frits

Hi Dave and Frits...

Pleased to meet you..

If you wanted to read the info on the german website, you may be able to use Babelfish (i think a part of Alta Vista search engine) to translate from german (or some other languages) into english..

Hope this helps..

Regards,

Jonathan.
