Saracen's Head Autumn GL5 Rally Sept 29th/ 30th/ Oct 1st

Hi all,
The good folks of Saracens Head volunteered (possibly with some encouragement) to host a GL5 Rally at the end of September.
Details to be confirmed but no doubt it will be a similar arrangement to the AGM weekend, without having a meeting to distract us from the important job of running trains on the Saturday. Hopefully it'll be a bit drier too...

For those who haven't been, or who haven't been recently, a lot of work has gone in of late and the railway and particularly the signalling (with even more of the loop now signalled by a mixture of 2 'boxes and automatic signals) ran very well indeed over the AGM weekend rally despite everything getting a thorough soaking. It's a challenging but enjoyable circuit to run on (I'm sure 3/4 of it is uphill) with lots of opportunities for shunting too.
