Hi, Can anyone please suggest where I might obtain, or have folded, some steel channel section for the underframe of a 25 Ton S.R. Brake van.

The size is not one I have seen advertised anywhere, at 34mm x 9mm and some 650mm in length. I think this is normally of 18g material thickness.

Try Alan Wood, our chairman, his contact details are in the front of Turnout, or try cutting it yourself as detailed in an article in Turnout about 2 years ago, you'll need a long miller, but not a folder.
