Hi guys,
Last saturday I was lucky to buy a 57XX Class Tank locomotive.
Now I'm looking for some nice carriages to hang behind the loco.
My preference is GWR carriages or freight cars from the period 1920 till 1950.
Where do I find some pictures of carriages (like the one below or smaller types) or drawings to build some?
Who knows some measures of this type?
Does anyone have some information for me?
Many thanks in advance.

GWR coaches and freightcars
Hi,
There was no responce to my question above, but in the meantime I can answer it myself.
Last week I was in the lucky circumstance to visit the STEAM museum in Swindon. This turns out to be a beautiful museum where one can find lots of information about th Great Western Railway.
It was there that I found two books written by J.H. Russell, with lots of pictures concerning the GWR coaches and freightcars. Unfortunaly the pictures are mostly in black and white. (Which is of course obviously, due to the period they were shooted)
Very helpfull to modelers like myself, who like to build as close as one can get to the original.
See you
