GL5 Committee Changes

Hi all,

Since the new Chairman and Secretary have both been introduced on Facebook, I thought I'd better copy the info across onto here too for those who are online but don't do Facebook; obviously the full details will be in Turnout.

Following a very civilised AGM in which Ben Lyons (outgoing Chairman, having announced his intention to stand down last year) and John Foxton (who had resigned as Secretary with immediate effect earlier this year) were thanked for their contributions, Jonathan Ward and Guy Harding stood unopposed for Chairman and Secretary respectively and both were duly elected.

There were also two vacancies on the committee, which were taken up by Peter Layfield and Steve Ross; no other members put themselves forward and so they were also voted onto the committee unopposed.

Congratulations and thank you to everyone who put themselves forwards to ensure that GL5 can continue and grow.
