Ben,

I guess you are referring to the "mole grip" type riveting tool?
I have one you may borrow.

Hi Kieth thanks for the offer, I've been able to use Dave, I'm on the look out for get a permanent one Dave is going to get a set of casting for the jaws when he gets time.
I will be needing one then as Dave and I are working on a new van kit .
Watch out at Shildon for first example, maybe two.

Now that’s interesting.

I have always fancied building a van. It might be just what I need to get me back in the swing of GL5.

Keep me in mind.

Hi Ben,

Stumbled over this as I'm looking at rivet tools for putting a couple of the Modelworks 16t minerals together, hopefully with some improvements to the running gear.

Did anything come of the van project/ is it still in the planning stages? Do keep us posted, if a couple of other guys are building them at the same time then that would be a good introduction to "proper" wagon building for me as I can do the online equivalent of peering over your shoulder to see how it's done!

Dave says he has 3 more kits in had so if you want one give Dave a call.
